Virtual Roundtable. Parliamentary accountability and good governance for climate change

This event organized by the Global Organization of Parliamentarians Against Corruption, GOPAC and UNITAR, will be the opportunity to learn about mitigating the causes and effects of climate change through anticorruption efforts by Parliamentarians at national and international level. At the end of the event, participants will also be able to learn on common challenges and some impacts at international level as well as identifying possible synergies to foster international cooperation.

  1. Each speaker will have up to 10 minutes. Once you have all taken the floor, the moderator will give you 2-3 extra minutes to answer questions from the floor and/or for final insights.
  2. Your personal zoom invitations as speakers have already been sent to your email addresses. These were sent from the Division for People and Social Inclusion’s email, no-reply@zoom.us, tittle: Webinar host invited you to be panellist for “Virtual Roundtable.   3. Kindly note that the link is personal to you and ensures that you join the webinar as a “panellist” and not as a participant. Please confirm receipt of this invitation by mail.
  4. In the referred email, you will see a link “Click here to join” under a line “Join from a PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone or Android device,” please click on it.
  5. Then introduce your email and your personal/usual password. When we registered you as speakers, we have included your emails- the ones that we have been using for exchanging messages with you-. If you use a different email to connect to zoom, please let us know to add it to the system otherwise you won’t have access.

  7. We kindly ask you to ensure that your computer is set up with good audio and video connection. Please either use the virtual background enclosed to this email, or one of your own choice -choose a neutral background for the duration of the event.
  8. In case you want to use a PPT, please let us know if  want our support for passing your ppt slides, please send us your PowerPoint slides before the event starts. For your kind consideration, here is a a ppt template with the graphic design adapted to the event, in case you want to use it (feel free to add  slides as you want, according to your time for taking the floor.
  9. In this kind of events, usually, participants ask if it is possible to share the ppt presentations. Once the event has finished, would you agree if we share your ppt with those who registered in event?
