Tenth Forum of Parliamentarians

“Global Anti-Corruption Governance: Realising CoSP@20 Parliamentary Engagement.”

The 10th Forum of Parliamentarians will be held in conjunction with the 10^th Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (CoSP UNCAC) on 11-15 December 2023, in Atlanta, United States of America. The forum is an avenue for parliament and parliamentarians to strengthen their parliamentary roles as a key component of UNCAC review and implementation. The theme of this year’s Forum of Parliamentarians is “Global Anti-Corruption Governance: Realising CoSP@20 Parliamentary Engagement.”

This Forum will explore the changes that need to be made to secure a more inclusive approach to parliamentary participation in the CoSP beyond UNCAC@20. Parliament and parliamentarians will have the opportunity to articulate better to the States Parties the benefits of a more substantial progress when they commit to guarantee parliamentary and CSO participation in every CoSP and other international relevant process.

Building on the learnings from the GOPAC Parliamentary Dialogue on UNCAC held in Doha in March 2023, the Forum will explore and advocate the best approaches to make the CoSP more accessible to Parliament and parliamentarians.
