    The UN General Assembly has designated 9 December as an International Day of Observance against corruption to raise awareness of the danger of corruption and highlight the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) ‘s central role in addressing it.<\/span><\/p>

    GOPAC believes that it is the time for parliament not just to discuss it but to act. To have, within their utmost endeavor, in any of their given constitutional mandates, a struggle in debating, promoting, shaping, overseeing, and budgeting any measures against corruption.<\/span><\/p>

    Parliament and parliamentarians should continuously adapt their measures to put an end to corruption. It is a right and responsibility borne by all parliaments and parliamentarians since they are at the core of public communities and have the ability to engage and create corruption-resistant citizens, constituents, or communities.<\/span><\/p>

    GOPAC calls upon parliament and parliamentarians to have a solid determination to curb corruption. When people entrusted you to be their representatives, they asked you to do your best in protecting public monies and guarding their interest in public service.<\/span><\/p>

    To idle is to ignore the mandate the society entrusted to you.<\/span><\/p>
