The United Nations appointed GOPAC Chair Hon. Dr Al Marri as the UNODC Regional Special Advocate

Vienna, Austria – The United Nations appointed GOPAC Chair Hon. Dr Al Marri as the UNODC Regional Special Advocate for Promoting the Role of Parliaments and of Youth in Preventing and Combating Corruption. Through his new mandate, Dr. Al Marri has been tasked to strengthen the role and contribution of parliaments, particularly young parliamentarians in the prevention and fight against corruption and in supporting the implementation of United Nations Convention against Corruption.
