SUMMARY:3rd Global Conference
DESCRIPTION:The third Global Conference which was held on 16-19 November 2008, in Kuwait City, saw the organization of at least 12 workshops held at the sideline of the conference. The workshop themes ranged from UNCAC review mechanisms, Anti-Money Laundering, Parliamentary Immunity, Resource Revenue Transparency, and others. \nThe Conference adopted a Kuwait Declaration – Parliamentarians Combating Corruption:  It’s Part of The Job. The Conference also adopted several resolutions including a resolution seeking formal recognition of the important role of parliaments in the fight against corruption from the Conference of the State Parties to UNCAC.
